Authentic, Grounded Counseling
Discover strength, insight, and a path forward.
Therapy for individuals and parents navigating anxiety, grief, and relationship challenges in the Seattle/Tacoma area.
My Philosophy
I believe in real connection and meaningful dialogue. Period. No fluff. You need relief from life’s difficulties.
I see therapy as a unique and powerful kind of relationship—one that creates space for healing, insight, and emotional growth. When we feel truly seen and understood (without judgment or pressure to “be” any certain way), it is a deeply relieving and cathartic experience.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is a shared process. Together, we build the kind of trust that allows you to explore even the most tender or stuck places. Over time, therapy can help loosen the grip of old patterns and inner narratives that no longer serve you, creating room for more choice, clarity, and connection in your life.
What We Might Explore
Many of my clients seek counseling to work through anxiety, grief, relationship dynamics (including with parents), self-esteem, identity questions, depression, life transitions, existential questioning, family issues, maladaptive coping, or simply feeling stuck in old patterns. No matter what brings you here, I want you to feel supported and understood in a space that’s steady and compassionate. Together, we’ll find tools and insights that can truly help.
Therapy with Empathy & Expertise
You deserve more than just a space to vent—you deserve someone who listens with empathy and acts with experience.
- I know what it means to live with grief—I’ve walked through it myself. That experience shapes the compassion I bring to grief counseling and trauma-focused sessions.
- At the same time, I rely on tools that actually work. I use CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, IFS, and an eclectic mix of approaches that we’ll adapt to fit your needs.
- I especially enjoy working with people who feel out of place—whether you’re neurodivergent, exploring your identity, or just overwhelmed by anxiety.
- My goal is to meet you where you are, without judgment, and help you make sense of what feels messy or heavy.
- With a background in both teaching and counseling, I explain things in plain language and help you spot patterns that may not be obvious at first. I see therapy as a partnership—you already carry the answers inside you. My job is to help you uncover them.
